Hoppy Pseudo-Pils / 5.4% / 40 IBU

Pseudo Pils (スウド・ピルス)とは？伝統的なピルスナーは下面発酵のラガー酵母で造られますが、このビールには上面発酵のノルウェー産クヴェイクを使いました。

しかし、このビールにはラガー特有のドライさが残っており、アザッカ・ホップのトロピカルなトーンがそれを引き立てている。

What is a pseudo pils? Traditional pilsners are made with bottom fermenting lager yeast, but for this beer we used top fermenting kveik ale yeast.

Despite the change of yeast, it has a lager’s characteristic dryness and is accented by the tropical notes from Azacca hops.
